Is it suitable for a 10/11yo? And can it be played with only 2 players?

Any other board game recommendations greatly receivedSmile

Definitely fine as a two player game. My DH & I enjoy playing by ourselves, and with friends, but we also play with DS who is nearly 7. I would assume, therefore, it would be absolutely suitable for 10/11 year old.

SleepyPaws · 26/11/2019 20:48

Our 9yr old DS loves it! You can just play with 2 and you can also get expansion packs to go with it. We've got our DS the imploding kittens one for Xmas.

My 8 and 11 yr olds can both play it fine. Other recommendations:

Sushi Go (card game)
Labyrinth (board game)
Taboo
I still love Pictionary - oldie but goodie

Yes, fine for that age group. I love Exploding Kittens! I always win which annoys my super-competitve DH because he can't work out my 'strategy'. (I don't have one, it's completely random Grin)

My 11 year old really loves it.

Another great one is Bears vs Babies.

Sushi go is good.
Plus the monopoly card game.

ThePurpleMoose · 26/11/2019 21:02

Yes! Just make sure you don't get the NSFW version Grin

They might also enjoy Forbidden Island - it's cooperative so all the players work together to win by escaping a slowly flooding island with a set of 4 treasures in hand. Can be played with only 2 and you can tweak the difficulty level once you get the hang of it.

Karuba is also great and works with 2 - you have to place a randomly drawn series of path tiles to connect explorers to temples and get them there before others for maximum points.
