Best hamper for £100

Dear wise Mumsnetters,

We want to buy a hamper for our neighbours, because they have been incredible this year: they have put up with weeks of builders carrying materials through their side entrance and beautiful garden.

We wanted to say thank you with a hamper for Christmas, but there is so much choice!!

Dies anyone have a recommendation?

Budget is £100

I'd go for quality over quantity, a small Fortnums one is more exciting than a mega Aldi one.

Between Fortnum & Mason's, Harrod's, Selfridge's and Harvey Nichols, which would you most like to receive? Or something else? (JL? M&S???)

Why not make up your own ?
You can buy the box/case and then buy lots of lovelies from various places .

I'd want a Fortnums one as the wicker hampers themselves are so lovely. We were given one and it was such a treat.

I suppose I've always wanted a Fortnum one too... So I'll probably go for that.

Nice basket from somewhere and make up your own, you will get so much more for your money

The Telegraph did an article on this last week.
There was a Cartwright and Butler one that looked great - I'd want that if I was the recipient.

Thank you for all the replies

I'll have a look at the cartwright and butler one, thank you

The Fortnum and Mason ones are lovely.
The baskets are so nice
They do next day delivery too if you order before 2pm and they deliver 7 days a week. I think it’s DPD who deliver for them

Thank you, I had a chat with DH, we'll go for a Fortnum one

I think your neighbours will be thrilled with Fortnums. There are quite a few at around £100 and a few just below which also look good.
