DS is 6 and is crazy into animals and dinosaurs, lego, puzzles and cricket. We already own the entire contents of the NHM shop (tho I will take a trip over there in case I can find anything he doesn't yet have...). On his very meagre list so far I have

Lego (tho I did threaten to move out last year if any more was bought, and much has been acquired in the meantime..)
Puzzles
Cricket whites (tho DH thinks that's a crap present, I'm getting it anyway)
7 Nations 1 Planet book

and that's it! I can't think of anything else! We have Gravitrax which he loves, brio, magformers….
He's not into gaming, and already has an Amazon Fire for travelling. Thanks for any ideas!

Haha Beautician I hate to think what prompted your username!!!

Thanks for the link to the book, we have something similar- however I LOVE the shark version! That's going on the list!

@NameChangingGame I had it on the wall in my salon room years ago as I got sick of the pictures of brows that were full and sweeping for clients with practically no brow hair. Long before the days of Microblading. Grin

Hope your ds enjoys the book. Board games always go down well here as well. Last year he had Ronald Dahl monopoly and soggy doggy. This year he has asked for pump up pirate Confused so my mum has got him that.

If he likes junk modelling this would be a good idea smile.amazon.com/dp/B01M9J6DRS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_PQQ3DbZJZ48W3

@BeauticianNotMagician81 I was imagining a situation like this!! If you haven't decided on a specific lego city we have this one and it has served well

lego

@JellyBellies they look bloody amazing - tho I'm not sure our standard of junk modelling is quite that high!

@NameChangingGame that's the one we have got it at a bargain price of £40. It was one of the first things I bought. Good to know it's a hit

Have a look at Smart Games or Think Fun games. My 6 yr old enjoys these.

Maze/puzzle books
Tom Gates books
A bird feeder that sticks on the window
Ant World
Mosaic puzzle (we have the Hape one that gets loads of use)
Hand held microscope/magnifier
