Need present ideas for the following 2 people

SIL - 28, lives in Dubai, young, single and a party girl. Need presents ideas that are

• going to small enough for her to take in suitcase
• nothing that might get her into trouble with customs eg alcohol
• less than £50

And then MIL who we will be seeing at the same time. No real hobbies. Jewellery is out as her partner gets lots for her.

SIL - Something beauty related - expensive in middle east I believe? Boots have got a Benefit set on special offer at the moment?

For SIL, make up such as Urban Decay or Charlotte Tilbury.

For MIL, perfume/hand lotion/bath matching set. Cook books if she likes them (I do, and I don't cook!). Afternoon tea or theatre experience.

Money ?

In Dirham would always be useful.

No one wants extra luggage when travelling

Have a look on ASOS for a bag/sunglasses/jewellery or outfit if you know her size. If you're not sure & she likes makeup & perfume, maybe a voucher for a concession at the airport for when she goes back so she can choose something. Or just money with the strict instructions to buy something at the airport.

Anything that is cosmetics or toiletry related is super expensive in dubai as is sun cream
So anything from boots nice shampoo etc
Or maybe Argan hair pop as the water is very hard in dubai ?
Random but if she doesn’t already have one a filter that goes on the shower head to reduce the hardness of the water is amazing makes a huge difference !

I’m a couple of years older than your SIL but am also in Dubai. Cosmetics are slightly more expensive here but there is a much wider range of what’s available.

She’ll be fine with booze in her suitcase btw! And that is expensive here! So if you know she’s a bit of a party girl, something like a good bottle of something you know she likes to drink plus nice glasses?

Other good options could be a nice beach towel or beach bag.

They have branched across Dubai and offer manicures, waxing, massage, facials etc plus hair cuts/blow dries. It’s a bit of a Dubai staple!
