I have a 5 year old niece who enjoys glamorous and sparkly things. She wants for Christmas some 'make-up and jewelry'. I don't have any children yet and I want to be sure I get things she'll like.
My first thought was I'd find a lovely silky, embroidered make-up bag (one I'd like myself) and put in it a few bits and pieces like a little necklace, some hair slide and so on. But I can see there are also available sets of unicorn/frozen stuff and I know she likes frozen. Am I imposing my own tastes too much on this child? Do you think she'd prefer the Frozen-type stuff rather than my -haha- carefully 'curated' version?
