1st Dec box

I’m thinking of making the dc a 1st Dec box. With their advent calendars in, Christmas pjs (so they get more wear than putting in Christmas Eve box), Elf on shelf, Christmas reward chart, but can’t think what else. Anyone else do this, what do you put in?
Will probably still do a Christmas Eve box with Christmas Eve, popcorn, Santa key, reindeer food.

We're doing one. Elf's bringing it. Has his Christmas jumper, a board game that I'd bought for us anyway, his advent calendar, an elf door. The elf is bringing it. We did similar last year and he loved it

Our elf delivers advent calendars and Christmas jumpers on the 1st (because all they love to wear them all month)

He also leaves pjs on the 24th and delivers a few random or amusing (to me) things in between

I don't bother with reindeer food or anything else

We don't do this, but I think it's a nice idea - an Advent box.

My DC like digging out any Christmas themed books from the bookshelves for us to read together during advent, and I can imagine they'd be even more delighted to find them in a box with advent calendars and pyjamas.

We have Christmas plates that we use in December, I'd put those in too if I was doing it.

We celebrate St Nicholas on Dec 5th, but if we didn't I think an advent box would be a lovely idea.

It doesn't have to all be about commercialism. You could do things like refilling the box with old toys/last years Christmas pjs or whatever and take it to the charity shop.

wagtailrobin will you be doing that every year? I don't think it's very fair to set something up as an expectation and then stop doing it.

What box does everyone put it in?
