Finding the impossible present...

Hi all,

I have my brother this year for secret Santa (limit of £50) and he is the most impossible person to buy for!

I already have him baileys (£10), a candle (£10) and a reeses peanut butter gift set (£5)

So have another £25 to spend and cannot think of anything!
He's 23, likes techy things, big fan of Friday night dinner (the tv show), has use of is girlfriends car (he's a mechanical engineering student) and is really picky with pressies.

I originally thought aftershave but wanted all of your opinions first if you can think anything that is quite unusual ?

Thank you in advance!! Grin

If he likes Baileys, you could get Baileys chocolates.

Has he got a smart speaker? Amazon echo dot or Google mini home? Slightly over budget but one to check Black Friday.

PersonaNonGarter · 17/11/2019 20:36

Get a kitchen gadget like a waffle maker or popcorn maker

starryeyed19 · 17/11/2019 20:42

They do Friday Night Dinner t-shirts. Get him one of those

Missed out on my original post that the candle is a woodwick one he was hinting on for one after seeing mine.. not just some random candle that I've bought him haha..

Thank you for replies, yes he has a google home thing already but rarely uses it and has masses of gadgets for the kitchen (he's the kind of person if he sees something he would just buy it not think oh il ask for it as a gift for birthdays / Christmas 🤦🏽‍♀️

Big Bang theory box set/merchandise

Slow cooker

Leflic · 17/11/2019 20:48

Something personalised? Either with his face or his girlfriend. Firebox has tons of things like this from socks to suitcases.

ritzbiscuits · 17/11/2019 21:14

Would he like a Swiss Army knife?

Phalarope · 17/11/2019 21:18

Wireless headphones?

If he's a mechanical engineer he might find something like this fun:

ugears.ie/mechanical-models/16-dynamometer-4820184120150

I've brought the safe for my other half, who is also impossible to buy for.

Whatdayisit2 · 17/11/2019 23:37

Dash cam? Can get those quite cheap and they're kind of techy?

NotReve · 17/11/2019 23:41

@NotReve

Are the grid it's fairly universal? My dad plays guitar and it looks like it could hold his extra bit. Strings, tuner etc

QuinoaWest · 18/11/2019 08:29

'Friday Night Dinner' wooden art for his work space?

NotReve · 18/11/2019 20:41

@loubieloo4 I think so! Mine haven’t arrived yet but I’ve just looked on the pics and I think they are essentially lots of elastics so could take whatever size/combination of things and would be good for guitar kit (I promise I don’t work for them 😂)
