Oh I also really want a potato ricer and a mini wok for single person stir fry's as DH and DC all eat meat so I have to do my veggie portion in a saucepan and there isn't room on the hob for two big woks.

@thethoughtfox Whitley Neil gins are lovely, especially the blood orange one.

Great ideas here!

I'd like a week away child frew somewhere hot. But that's wishful thinking and wildly unrealistic.
The only thing I have managed to suggest seriously is a box of chocs from hotel chocolat. Boring but I just don't need stuff.

I'd like vouchers for new look as I like their black jeans and work blouses - dmil/ddad

A new bag - an Anta shopper so I can fit folders and work stuff in it plus purse and phone - dh

A cute fabric lunchbox - dc

Chocolate - lots of chocolate - ddog

A waterproof long coat for dog walking - dm

All of these people prefer me to give them a 'thing' to buy and give cash if I don't which gets spent on food shopping 😠

And the dogs, well dh can help them 😉

My birthday is near Xmas, and so I've started compiling a few ideas - I don't expect everything by any stretch, but DH doesn't do surprises, so unless I provide an extensive list, I get exactly what was on my list, which takes away some of the fun - I'd rather have a longer list and not know what I'll get on it, then 5 things and get them all - I could just go out and buy for myself.

So:
Subscription to the Economist
A circle ring thing (I haven't seen one I like yet)
Apple Watch (I'll actually get an enormous subsidy on this from my health insurance)
Books
A robot hoover (not sure I actually want this as a gift....)
New dinner set (ours is v cheap Ikea 365 stuff, and I thought it might be nice to upgrade a bit)
Bird feeders
House plants
L'Occitane perfume
L'Occitane shea butter hand cream
Measuring cups (as he smashed one of my current set)
