Has anyone been and stayed over in the hotel for the xmas special

Just wondering if enough to do if pissing it down

We have booked as a treat close to xmas mine will be 5yrs and 9yrs they love legoland and we have only ever stayed in the hotel once (not at xmas) and as I was poorly (tonsillitis) i didnt really get to enjoy it.

We haven't told the kids it's a 2hr drive so will just get them up and bung in the car and not tell them til they see as we arrive

What's been others experience of xmas at legoland-tips?

The hotel is amazing I wouldn't pay £600 for peak times in summer but for £350/400 as xmas treat its ok

Even when we went in the summer there was loads to do in the legoland hotel!! It depends what your dc like doing, obviously there’s the pool, big pits full of bricks, Lego movies on in a room. I haven’t personally been at Christmas so there might be themed events etc going on (we went in October so everything was spooky!)

There’s also great entertainment on from about 6-9:30 with brick building contests and Emmett comes out too so dd’s loved it
