Animation software for 11 year old?

No idea whether such a thing exists. We have a playstation 4 and laptops so anything that would work on either of these would be fine. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

Can you get stop motion studio on any of those? My 8 year old loves it on the kindle

What type of animation is he into? If it’s stop motion Hue studio is hard to beat - comes with a camera so has the ‘unwrap’ factor. Easy to get to grips with and can produce good results quickly. Shop around though as it varies in price.

If it’s something more advanced Adobe Animate is probably the best - it’s subscription based however and is relatively difficult to pick up (although my DS who is very into animation seems to have gotten to grips with it pretty well).
