Christmas pudding with slices of orange

Has anyone made one of these?
Is it difficult?
I've always made Eliza Acton pudding before but the orange slices look pretty. Can I just do my normal recipe but add the orange slices in first? Or does anyone have a tried and tested recipe?

I haven't got a recipe for you but I imagine you could just add orange to your usual one - does it already have zest/juice/candied peel of any sort in it? You could line your pudding dish with orange slices where you want them then add the pudding batter, in the style of a pineapple upside down cake.

Thanks, that's sort of my plan b, if I can't find a proper recipe. I'm just a bit worried it will collapse when I turn it out.

I shouldn't think it would collapse, Christmas pudding is quite a robust cake (although I stand to be corrected if someone has had this happen to them!).
