We discovered this game last year and played with our 3 girls and they loved it so much and have not stopped going on about.

We played a really simple version, throw a 6 pick a present, and carry on until everyone has a wrapped parcel in front of them, everyone opens together, throw a 3 swap with someone, 2 take whatever item you want (that kinda thing)

This year it’s only the 5 of us and wondered if any other rules I can thrown in to make it last a bit longer.

I’m also thinking about trying to find away to fit the girls main presents into it (big two new phones, youngest iPad, none of which have a clue about) and thought about doing something like iPad into a cereal box and equivalent with phones...

Does anyone have and ideas how I can use the game to get the maximum “WOW” factor for their pressies?

I cant remember all the rules, but I played a version of this with a dozen people, and it lasted all evening.
We did 2 rounds - and brought 3 presents each. First round was all wrapped, but involved taking presents, swapping presents, everyone passing a present to the left etc. Then everything was unwrapped, and the whole thing went again. We just kept going round til it was sometime.

I'm not sure I'd put the presents that need to go to the right person in that game tho - how would you feel if one child got all 3 electronics??? I'd give the kids the correct present, and play the game with less personalised gifts.

Ahh great I might add a pass a present to the left/right rule to a number too, that sounds fun.

All relevant presents will go to the correct child at the end Smile.

Part of the fun for us last year was wrapping presents to look like something else, ie what everyone thought was beer bottle being a bottle of sweets or the biggest heaviest present that everyone wanted being a box of cement, thought it would be quite fun to disguise there pressies so that they are actually trying to get rid of them inside cereal/cuppa soup box and we can casually open at the end!!
