What to get DS19

DS is 19 and I have no idea what to get him. I have asked him and he has said as long as there are boxers and socks, and a bottle of whiskey, he doesn't mind and it's up to me. As I'm the only parent now, I can't even ask DH for ideas (I hate having to be the adult and make the decisions).

Last year we got him an ipad, aftershave, clothes and DH had bought him a car earlier in the year (as his inheritance, we weren't loaded!) so I taxed and insured it as part of his Xmas present.

This year he works full time and has taxed and insured it himself. I was going to buy him an Xbox game but found out today that he has already got it now he's not reliant on the bank of Mum!

He has pretty much everything he could need, because he's had a tough couple of years and DH spoilt him rotten while he had the chance to. He has said he's not eyeing up any new tech or stuff, and doesn't really want money because he has a good job and enough money to buy what he wants and still save. We are going away in January but he has loads of new clothes he bought when we went to Florida in the summer, so he doesn't need holiday clothes or luggage or a new passport. I'm at a bit of a loss!

With just my salary coming in and a small widows pension, I'm not well off, but I'm not skint either thanks to DH's savings, so am looking to spend up to £500. I did think of taking him away for a weekend, but he wants to do that for me as my present!

An expensive watch, something he will always have, engraved on the back? An experience day, maybe to Silverstone or his soccer team's home ground? (If he's into sport).

Thanks, they are fab ideas! He actually has a part time job at his team's stadium in addition to his main job, but the Silverstone one is actually great, something he can do with his friends maybe? I'm really chuffed with those suggestions.
