I've bought her main gifts - an iPhone, a record player and a record, I need to find her some smaller bits to open, but I'm really stuck, she's got all the make up she needs and wants, just had to quit her hobby so no clues there.. she's got books in her Santa stocking, any teen ideas anyone?!

Fluffy dressing gown
Power bank
Ear/headphones
Make up storage such as a vanity case, acrylic boxes or one of those rotating ones. Beautify has some good ideas though you’ll possibly get them cheaper if you shop around.
Books
Nice cushions or throw for her bed
Bath bombs. For something a bit more affordable than Lush I really like Bomb Cosmetics, cruelty free and really lovely.
Water bottle
Fancier than usual hair care products
Chocolates
Perfume

You've spent lots so I'm assuming that what you need now are a few cheap things to bulk it out?
In that case I'd be looking for food and drinks and stuff she needs/you'd be buying anyway.
Does she like peanut butter, jam? A more ££ version than usual
Chocolate spread - you can get lots of kinds now
Syrup for coffee
A big box of cans of Coke
Shower gel
Deodorant
Nail varnish remover and cotton wool
Face wash etc you could stick it all in a big box together

String of photo clip lights?

Any teen loves them, as can tailor them to whatever they're 'into', with pictures/cut-outs/print-offs etc.

You can usually get them for £5ish.

Some fab ideas thanks, those photo lights are great, I'll look for them, yes looking for cheap things to open rather than spending lots! Just out for the day but I'll certainly be having a spend tomorrow evening from this list, thanks!

I know it's another book but 17 y/o DD was given The Green Roasting Tin for her birthday. Its Insta-tastic but the recipes are actually really good (all dead simple one-tin meals) & she's really enjoyed cooking with it. That packaged up with a nice enamel roasting tin + maybe a classy apron would make a good gift & useful too thinking forwards to when she leaves home / goes off to uni etc.

Excellent idea, Sadik. I did this for d last Christmas but with the one with meat and fish in too.

Also maybe Greta T's book as a little stocking filler?

DangerousMouse · 02/11/2019 17:52

I've ordered that cook book thanks, maybe one of those UV gel nail kits, do you think the cheap ones are ok? There are some for £20 on amazon.
