Men!! Ideas for dp please

Having a nightmare thinking about what to get dp for his birthday in 2 weeks let alone for Christmas! And now I have family asking me for ideas too.
I’ve already got him a bottle of his favourite tipple. So no more alcohol and no food items.
Tight budget so looking at gifts around £20-£30
Hot me with your ideas please!

Grid-it. It's like a handbag organiser for men, has lots of elastic straps to store charging leads, pens etc.
I think it's one of those things you'd never buy for yourself but would be a useful gift.

I got my oh a dash cam..slightly over budget at £35

Slippers - not very interesting but useful, probably more an idea for family to get him

Any particular hobbies? For example my DH likes art and Disney so I get him the art of (insert Disney pixar film here) books they sell on amazon

I got dh the gridit a couple of years ago - really good present.
This year he is getting a mountain bike map - it came up as an ad on Facebook and I just thought what the hell, try it. It's a large printed map illustrated with the best mountain biking spots around the world (that being his main hobby). They do loads of other ones too, hiking, surfing, golf etc. He can put it up in his mancave/bike workshop.

Watching with interest as my DP has a December birthday so I need lots of ideas!
Last year I got him one of these t-shirts from Not On The High Street which went down well.

This year so far I've thought of ingredients to make Negronis plus a nice glass, quiz books (Only Connect and House of Games). I also usually get some kind of experience voucher, or tickets to something. And beard oil!

What about whiskey stones, or a nice glass to go with the booze?

Hobby related equipment, magazine subscription, biography or autobiography of someone he admires. Voucher for a traditional barbers shave, travel coffee container/water bottle. Nicer versions of usual things like cashmere jumpers, pure wool dressing gown, bamboo socks.
Geeky stuff like T-shirt’s, powerbank, wireless phone charger.

How have I never heard of the grid-it 😮 never mind my DP, I want one for myself!

A good gift I got my dad years ago was an armchair caddy that went over his armchair and holds the remote, his phone, drink etc.. He still uses it everyday!

Tool sets always come in handy!

I bought DH a grid-it after reading about it on MN two years ago. She loves it. He travels a lot for work and all small bits and pieces always ended at the bottom of his laptop bag. Still in great condition.

I’m getting my diy enthusiasts magnetic wristbands, contour gauges and extendable magnetic torches.

I had great success with grid-it’s a couple of years back thanks to mumsnet. Last year I gave fil and dh thin optics reading glasses in a case that attached to their mobile phones. They replace them for the cost of postage too which is good. I’ve been thanked for these numerous times throughout the year though both took some convincing to try them out because they are preposterous.

Also getting my dsis a hori hori knife which would be good for any gardeners.

It depends on if he has hobbies or not. All the men in my life have specific interests.

Sugru is like blue tack that sets hard and is waterproof and heat/gold resistant. Good for repairs and stocking fillers

DH is freelance and I got a notepad ( had plastic pockets, graph paper, lines and blanks from Paperchase that I stuck a specially designed postcard of his favourite team to personalise it.

Personalised anything. Mine really liked car air freshers ( you get a pack of three) that had mine and the kids faces on!

Coasters with his favourite bands album covers on.

Chocolate workshop make chocolate in all sorts of realistic shapes including tools, food and cooking and various hobbies related items.

I've bought a full size table skittles game for my very difficult to buy for husband. Rather over budget but everyone else will enjoy it too. We are quite competitive and games get riotous in our house around Christmas. For a budget game maybe buy a second hand Wii Bowling - hours of fun!

I’ve got my November-born bf tickets to the Crystal Maze experience in London - he loves the show so fingers crossed he will love this!
Have also got him a nice shirt from Topman as he has hardly any nice ‘going out’ shirts
looking for something else small to add to this.

Then on to Xmas! That weather stick looks like an excellent top up gift for my dad, thank you!

We're only getting a few smaller gifts for each other this year. So far for DH I have:

Indian memoir/cookbook
A Terry's chocolate orange

Likely to add some loungewear, Grid it, and a Berlin book he wants.
