Hi I have 2 little ones DD 6 & DS 4 ,
I like to get them a non chocolate advent calendar to share, last year they had the playmobil Santa's workshop one which was a hit but I can't seem to find anything this year that they can both enjoy. Has anyone found anything suitable? Thanks

I have the one with the books added to my basket on amazon I'm just not sure if it's going to be a bit boring?!
I've added a stationary one for my daughter but then it's £40 on 2 advent calenders & it seems a lot

Make one? Fill with musical instruments, playdough, cutters, stationary, party bag style toys

Oh my word don’t pay £19.99 for that Disney book one - is only £10 in Asda!

Don't Lego do them? Failing that, my DC's favourite ones were always the classic Christian ones sent by a great aunt with glittery pictures of stages of the nativity inside each window. When she stopped sending them, I carried on buying them from the local church.

Is now the time to mention that I'm waiting for the Aldi wine calendar? WineHalloween Wink

Have had it for the last 2 years and it's fab!

Aldi do a regular selection of wooden advent calendars too, not just wine ones! They are coming out this Sunday. A nutcracker soldier, a double sided train, a white wooden house with reindeer scene. Reuse every year.

Forgot to say, a tenner each.

sleepismysuperpower1 · 31/10/2019 10:04

the Plasticine one is also on amazon link

I've bought my two an advent of change children's calendar each. Donates to a different charity each day and it tells you what your donation has done 👍🏻
