To not know what I want

I have already posted in AIBU as I didn't realise there was a Christmas thread....

Anyway...I am being asked what I want for Christmas, and I just don't know what to tell them, There is nothing I need or want. What are you lot asking for?

I'd like a new Kindle Paperwhite.. My old kindle is 7 years old and the screen is blotted in a few places. Still perfectly usable but if one comes up on Black Friday deals I could be tempted to ask DH for it.

Also a new set of naice colouring pencils for me that the children will not be allowed to use.

Failsafes for me are wax melts or vouchers for Matalan or Primark.

I have asked my mum and sisters for the following (We tell each other what we would like);

Nominations charms X2
Thomas Sabo charm X1
INKA sterling silver bracelet X2
Handbag (From Aldo)
Books

My brothers tend to give me vouchers/cash and my mum also buys me surprise items and always a big hamper filled with all the makeup/face wipes I use.

It's my birthday in December too and for that I've asked for the money to renew my Neopets premium. Xmas Grin For Christmas, I'd love the new Finishing Touch Flawless Body. I might look out for myself for that though on Black Friday.

Both mine & DH's parents ask for Christmas lists every year (and also for birthdays) so I keep an ongoing list on my phone.

I often see things or think of things to add at random times and can then go back to it for inspiration when writing my list for Santa

JustAnotherMammi · 28/10/2019 07:50

I'd like a new purse. Mine is falling apart.

Bbq1 · 28/10/2019 12:42

I keep a Book list and a genera list on Amazon and Ebay throughout the year amending it as I go. At Christmas DH will usually ask me for a lift and I'll use my lists to help but the gifts don't have to come from those sites. Ds usually asks what I want - i might ask for new Wonderwoman slippers! Db quite often gives me a voucher and DS and DN buy me a nice gift each. DM&DD have always done me an amazing stocking and I do one for her. We don't do lists but we'll include a calendar, book, candles, chocolate and some more unusual gifts. Maybe around 10 to 12 gifts each.

MoodLighting · 28/10/2019 16:27

My list would be:

A nice plant

A pretty knitted blanket

A reed diffuser that smells like a luxury spa

Novels

Fancy chocolates

Great smelling hand cream

Cute geometric earrings
