Surprise City break

What's the best way to give this as a gift?

I've booked a city break for the family as their Christmas gift. Dh knows about it after a passport drama, however it counts as the majority of my two DS (17 and 14) Christmas gifts.

I was going to wrap their passports, tickets, attraction tickets up but I've no idea how to do it.

Anyone got any ideas??

Tia

Could you attach it to a small gift that represents that city e.g. pack of shortbread if Edinburgh? I wouldn’t wrap passports though as not part of the gift if they have them already.

You can buy lottery tickets that have your own message when you scratch off. My friend revealed a holiday present to her DH that way. Went down really well.

Building on @Ruralretreating's idea.what about a stocking with what seems like boring stuff at the top but stuff they might need (new toothbrush; toothpaste; travel size toiletries; new toilet bag if needed; new underwear; then as they get further down the stocking more clues - a few Euros/whatever currency; a travel guide etc Are you willing to share where you're going or would that be outing?

Guidebook?

@RockingMyFiftiesNot that’s a genius idea. If I had budget left over from the short-break voucher we’ve bought for PILs I would definitely do that for their trip!

@rockingmyfiftiesnot genius!!! That's what I'm going to do. Thank you so much everyone.
