My ds and dd 10 both asked for a new bike, dd needs a new helmet too and ds wants a bell for his bike.
Lego and playmobil always go down well in this house.
Dd is a bookworm so she'd like new jaquelinewilson and diary of a wimpy kid.

Ooh @Cuppaand2biscuits that sounds like a good one, what sort of stuff does your DD listen to on it? We have one downstairs but only really use it to listen to the radio Hmm

SaveMeBarry · 26/10/2019 10:33

Dd10 is getting an MP3 player, headphones and portable speaker.
An initial necklace
Vans if I can get the ones she wants in her size.
Fitbit ace (reduced in Argos but I’m half sorry I didn’t just buy a cheaper one on amazon as lots of MNers have said they’re just as good!)
Books - a selection of @ 10/12.
Roller skates
Sewing box (with bits and bobs)
Instant table tennis
Bath bomb gift set
Some fancy colouring pens recommended on here.
Marmite jigsaw puzzle Grin
The sleepover party game
Wall decal and cute hanging storage thingy for her room.
Electronic money box
Sweatshirt onesie

iPad (joint main Xmas and Dec birthday!)
Blokus game
Pusheen cross stitch
Sequin art
Neon writing board

For Birthday:
iPad (as above lol)
Pusheen duvet set
Pusheen fleece blanket
Pusheen plush
Artbox gift voucher

HelloGabriel · 26/10/2019 11:21

@SaveMeBarry can I ask what make the colouring pens are? DD is obsessed with gel pens, I'd love to get her something a bit different.

I was going to buy one of those hook and stitch sets as a stocking filler for a bit of nostalgic fun Grin does anyone remember them? I'm pretty sure people used to have them as wall hangings back in the 90s but I think you can get small ones too!

SaveMeBarry · 26/10/2019 11:54

@HelloGabriel they’re called Ohuhu. I’ve seen posters mention a more expensive brand too though I can’t recall the name but these look to be quite a step up from what dd has so I figured see how she goes with them (she’s quite arty crafty Smile). I can’t vouch for them myself as I’m a bit clueless with this stuff (not being in any way arty crafty!)
I bought them on Amazon.

My 9 yr DD loves all cuddly things and recently discovered these www.kidrobot.com/collections/yummy-world/products/yummy-world-jeni-and-the-jelly-beans-xl-plush

My daughter will be 11 but she’s autistic and young at heart.

She’s asked for :

Lion king dvd
Lion king teddy
Board games
Lego friends

She’s not into clothes etc yet thankfully, will probably get her some unicorn bath bombs and trinkets as such

Maxineputyourredshoeson · 26/10/2019 14:45

DD1 is 10 on the 28th and so far I have;
2 Harry Potter Lego sets
An electric guitar and amp
HP note book
HP jewellery
HP house fleece blanket
HP mug
LOL doll
Draco Malloy wand
Personalised pair of converse - I had great fun designing them!

That’s all I can remember off the top of my head, there is more but will be between birthday and Christmas. Her grandparents and family friends are buying her HP Lego, the aim is to have most of the sets to display on a shelf - her idea.

@HelloGabriel she likes David Walliams, which are read by him and very funny!
She also likes Jacqueline Wilson, you can get all sorts of different titles and listen to a sample before you download. I pay £7.99 a month which gives you one credit a month to spend on a new book.
She still loves reading books too and often listens to books that she has already read.
You can also listen to meditation sounds or white noise sounds.

louise5754 · 27/10/2019 10:48

Is anyone's 9/10 year old still into dolls? Mine has never been but my nearly 8 year old is. A few of my eldest friends are having LOL for Christmas.

ExhaustionSIeep · 27/10/2019 12:45

An instax mini camera and various films
A chocolate lolly making set
Body shop bits and bobs
A bracelet
A chillys bottle
A cream blusher and a lipgloss (florence range by a girl she likes it’s from boots)
