Hello, my five year old DD has asked for a Cubby Bear for Christmas, has anyone got one and can give me an honest review please? It seems like a lot of money for a teddy!

Watching with interest! My 7yo DD has asked for one too. It’s a tough one as I think she’d love it for a short while and then get bored but it’s a lot of money. There are others things that I’d like to buy her for a main present but I can’t afford them both!

@luvabellawilleatme, just in case you are stills interested in Cubby Bear and haven’t noticed...it’s down to £56 on amazon. I’ve just bought it for my DD.

Thank you! We have actually already got one for my daughter, we managed to get it from Very with discounts etc - not as cheap as that though! Never mind.

I must admit I have had it out the box (I had to put batteries in to check he works of course - not that I wanted to play Wink of course) and I do think it is lovely BearBear

Good to know! Really hope they both like him! I was hoping she’d change her mind but she’s adamant it is ALL she wants for Christmas! It seems a bit more reasonable at that price and then I can still afford to get her some other bits too.

Fingers crossed that it will not be a one day wonder!

Did it last as long as you hoped with their attention ? Was it worth the money? I'm thing of getting one for my son

We bought this last Christmas for my DS who was 5. It did have the wow factor and was played with on the day. It was the thing he has asked for most.
After a week he didn’t really play with it but used every night as it plays music in night mode. For the last few months it’s under his bed untouched.
It did come out when his friends came round but that’s about it.
It don’t regret buying it as it was ‘the toy’ but I don’t feel we got the £70 value from it.

I think it's creepy but I hate anything robotic.

My just turned 5 yo DD had a Cubby Bear for Christmas. He still gets played with every evening when she’s winding down for bed, and he has pride of place in her bed. For the first few weeks he had to come everywhere with us!
