Well to play anytime over Christmas really- I’m sick of monopoly!! It’s got to be suitable for a 10 year old who doesn’t like long complicated games. If the rules are too detailed or complex then he loses the will to live - and frankly so do I! There will be two older siblings in their 20s as well.

What do people think of game of life? It gets very mixed reviews.

We all love Dread Pirate by Front Porch Classics. Pricy but beautifully made and kids love the tactile treasure and jewels

We are classic card games here - why not get the usbourne card game book and some cards. Weirdly we all love go fish and old maid 😳 hours of entertainment but super quick!

Marking place to come back to later. We are really enjoying Labyrinth and Uno at moment.

We’ve enjoyed doing escape room games recently- single use but perfect for a special occasion. You definitely won’t get bored.
