Dd11 spends a fortune on smoothies and frozen drinks from Costa. I was thinking of getting her some kind of contraption so she can make her own. Any suggestions? We have a tiny kitchen with minimal storage so the more compact the better.

We use a nutri bullet works great and is nice and small

I have the most expensive hand held blender I could find cheaper than the nutri bullet and easier to store in a drawer. It needs the power to make smoothies really well and without chopping up the ingredients too small before you blitz them. It does everything, soups etc. The best present IMO and E !!

I have the salter nutri pro. Cheaper than nutri bullet and usually good deals on Black Friday.

I found this a bit less messy than a hand held - particular when using frozen stuff. We use it at least 4 times a week with frozen fruit etc and it’s still going strong 2 years later.

Yes frozen stuff wouldn't work well unless it was frozen little fruit and small ice cubes, I suppose.
