I'm looking for a good pair of binoculars also suitable for night skies
a metal detector, something for an amateur ornithologist and anything to do with roller coasters. Age 10/11

Any experience or suggestions would be invaluable

Lego do a good pirate themed roller coaster 3 in 1 set.

Those little wooden whistles that let you make different bird calls would be good stocking fillers.

Good pair of binoculars for decent price look for Bushnell brand.
A book with bird songs and a pen that you point to picture and plays the call/ song. But a good one, not a children one. Birdvoice makes them.
A “write in the rain” notebook and good pencil for field notes.
