I have a 12 year old who is obsessed with music but I do not want her to have a device with internet browsing capabilities. She listens to music with Spotify mostly, over an Amazon dot at home with Amazon music too. But I want something she can listen to music to on her walk to school and car journeys.
The Mighty Vibe player would be perfect, if is basically an MP3 player for Spotify unlimited, you can download all Spotify playlists on to it. However, it is tiny and £80. I'm sure it would be quickly lost I feel it is overpriced for what it is.
MP3 players are much better value, but I've just looked at the price of MP3 albums on Amazon and buying several would make a cheap MP3 player an expensive outlet also. How do others build their MP3 library, are there subscriptions available for download? Everyone buy individual albums? Or are most people downloading illegally? I am happy to buy at low cost but reluctant when digital products cost more than physical ones.
