What could this be?

My DD (6) has asked for her birthday/ Christmas- both in December this thing. I'll use her description. It's pink and square and about 1/2 an inch deep. ( hand movements for that bit). It's about 10 or so inches square. It draws in rainbows or colours. Then you can make it disappear. It's not an iPad or a tablet.
Any ideas please?
