This year I am doing the above for a couple of family members and looking for inspiration! I have an eco travel cup and thinking about some beeswax cloths. It's also a relaxing theme too so I have an 'initial' jigsaw puzzle plus will put in some choccies.
Any ideas for eco gifts please?

Seeds, vegan treats-choc etc you can get from Holland and Barrett, home made beauty products (scrubs etc, in nice glass jars they can reuse.

Make little crochet discs to use instead of cotton wool pads.

The Loving Nature - eco conscious toiletries.

I'd go for consumables, unless you know that they need/would use things like sandwich wraps, metal straws etc. I reckon by this point most people have more re-usable shopping bags than they will ever want or need... My exception to that would be nice mugs since they inevitably get broken or chipped over time (unless they're matchy-matchy sort of people)
I always think it's good to have stuff from local to you (cheese, beer, craft gin, locally produced toiletries) especially if you live somewhere different to the recipient.
