Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Unihorn · 11/09/2019 21:48

My Matalan codes were emailed to me then sent in the post the next day..?

There are a fair few blackout dates and times on the cheap Paris tickets.

Notasyoungasiwas · 11/09/2019 22:04

@Lc2006
Thanks - just ordered loads of pressies!

Lc2006 · 11/09/2019 22:20

@Sneezein3s I only ordered one but very tempted to order the others now Blush can't go wrong at that price really

Barbarara · 11/09/2019 22:36

@Lc2006 thanks for the handbag tip Xmas Smile

Sneezein3s · 11/09/2019 22:38

@Lc2006 just looked at the measurements they’re only 16cm wide - I think the picture is somewhat deceiving but still great little gifts for £3 each!

ChangeOfTides · 11/09/2019 22:40

@babycakes1010 Home Bargains have some minecraft Lego sets in, I think they were £12.99.

scrappydappydoo · 11/09/2019 22:51

I’m looking for an earphone case/tidy for dd (13) - not ear pods just would fit any in the ear phones. She’s always forgetting them or they’re in a tangle so I’d like to get her something to help maybe on a keychain- I’ll know it when I see it. Under £5 if possible...

Fuckingfuckssake · 11/09/2019 22:56

Following on from the Good Housekeeping subscription tip, there's also £4 cashback on TCB for Hearst Magazines, bringing the price down to £6 for 6 issues plus the cookbook! I'm going to pop my referral code on the referrals thread (where else) if it's of any interest to anyone.

Lc2006 · 11/09/2019 23:01

@Sneezein3s Oh no that is smaller than I was thinking sorry Blush. Your right though the pictures are very deceiving.

Going to keep mine as it was for my niece anyway so size may not be too bad. If you go into your orders in your account you can request a cancellation though for any one that has ordered and no longer wants one.

UrbanMage · 11/09/2019 23:41

Thanks @tabbycat985, my SiL is now sorted as she's a Slytherin fanatic i may have also got myself two t-shirts!

CupoTeap · 12/09/2019 05:10

@scrappydappydoo have you ever used wish? I got something similar from there for my charger and ears to carry in my handbag.

SayNoToCarrots · 12/09/2019 06:57

@scrappydappydoo not christmassy but I just use an empty smint box!

Barbarara · 12/09/2019 07:09

Oh those pictures of the bag are a bit deceiving! 😂 I had bought it for an adult but I might give it to my niece instead. Lesson learned to check the product description!

Jessica78 · 12/09/2019 07:17

In Amazon's deal of the day section they have some etched LSA glassware in a 'Kew' style. I got a jug (14.99 from 45) and the glass dome (45 from 75) as a main gift for my parents. A nice discount, and very pretty! They also have champagne glasses, wine glasses, a carafe etc.

NoWordForFluffy · 12/09/2019 07:20

I got the GH Christmas cookbook last year. It's lovely! I'm disappointed there's not a different gift this year though!

Barbarara · 12/09/2019 07:26

FF20 gives 20% off thin optics which are tiny folding reading glasses. You can get a case that sticks to the back of a mobile phone or a case on a key ring. They have a lifetime guarantee and replace them free except for the shipping which is $10
I got them for dh and fil and both love them. You probably wouldn’t use them to settle down with a good book but they’re very, very handy out and about

Jammiebammie · 12/09/2019 07:31

@scrappydappydoo what about something like this or this for keeping dds headphones tidy? They also have other colours in both. They also have more novelty ones like this which are slightly dearer but also cute. Lots of different styles if you search earphone/earbud tidy on amazon.

andadietcoke · 12/09/2019 07:57

Lego Friends Mia's House for £34.99 on Amazon - cheapest it's ever been according to CCC (normally £59.99). LEGO 41369 Friends Mia's House Set, 3 mini-dolls Rabbit and Horse Figures, Build and Play Dollhouse Toys for Kids, Multi-Colour https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07FP2KS3N/ref=cmswwrcppapiii_1LEEDb8ZT2K02

scrappydappydoo · 12/09/2019 08:06

Oh I like the turtle - thank you! Love these threads Flowers

Jammiebammie · 12/09/2019 08:12

Matalan codes I found quite hidden in emails, were just at the bottom of a promotional email, had to scroll down to see it.
I’ve got a £15 off £75 code if anyone would like it?

Dorsetcamping · 12/09/2019 08:24

Yes please to the code @Jammiebammie
DD needs some new bedding

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 12/09/2019 08:31

Two for £45 on Smiggle advent calendars until Tuesday

early bird

Whattodowithaminute · 12/09/2019 08:38

Hobbycraft still had their cardboard paint your own house/castle/shop in store for £8.50 this week, weren’t available on line last time I checked.

NoWordForFluffy · 12/09/2019 08:59

I think I must've opted out of Matalan emails, hence not getting a code. I've now rectified that!
