@Luxplus if you don’t mind secondhand there is always loads of Playmobil on Facebook marketplace; we’ve had the princess castle and the cruise ship at bargain prices (think they were £10 each). Otherwise Asda usually has a big set half price in their sale - last Christmas it was the hospital set at £30 down from £60.

Ooh and I’m a student this year and also happy to be PM’d for unidays codeSmile

PinkDaydreams · 20/09/2019 08:21

Pp has asked about when the ikea duktig wooden kitchen is reduced. I’m also wondering the same please!

Squirrelblanket · 20/09/2019 08:26

Ok trying this again!Smile

This time the ACTUAL Kindle paperwhite is on offer! Here is the link: www.amazon.co.uk/Amazon-Kindle-Paperwhite-Waterproof-Twice-Storage/dp/B07747FR44/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&keywords=kindle+paperwhite&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1568964131&sr=8-1

sideorderofchips · 20/09/2019 08:32

Wonder if molten brown will do a code this year. The year of the baubles was amazing

Mrsfussypants1 · 20/09/2019 08:36

Argos are having some sort of toy offer starting Wednesday. There is a countdown clock on toy offers page, it's all a bit mysterious. Since they've stopped 3 for 2 I'm expecting something different and bigger than the usual toy offers they have. It also coincides with smyths though argos are a bit hit and miss with toy offers.

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 20/09/2019 08:45

A DPD van just pulled up and DH said is that more Christmas presents Grin

Fuckingfuckssake · 20/09/2019 08:46

Reastie, Smiggle advent calendars are £20 today, it popped up on my Facebook feed but I don't know how to link sorry.

wibbletooth · 20/09/2019 08:48

Don’t think I’ve seen this mentioned already - Habitat have 25% off most things at the moment with the code HAB25 - until 23:59 on Sunday

Not sure if it is available in store too.

NoWordForFluffy · 20/09/2019 09:04

Argos normally inflates prices to then discount them. It's always worth checking elsewhere before being sucked in!

Mrsfussypants1 · 20/09/2019 09:12

Fluffy I agree, argos are well known for doing that. I'm sure that's the reason they've stopped 3 for 2. Good advice, always have a Google check to compare prices. I only tend to buy from argos at end of season when things are massively reduced.

recklessgran · 20/09/2019 09:13

Ha! Ha! @PaddingtonBearHardStare I'm with you sister!
DH's version - " Oh no! Not more unnecessary purchases!"
[He has no idea that it's about to get a whole lot worse thanks to this brilliant thread.]

wibbletooth · 20/09/2019 09:24

Just seen an ad on Facebook for mytoptrumps.com, where you can create your own personalised pack of top trumps cards. Cost is £15 for a single pack down to £7.50 if you get 30 or more, couldn’t see postage. I’ve signed up for a newsletter that says there will be offers so hoping that there might be discount codes.

They seem to have loads of templates for the cards so you could say do a themed set of a wedding or a year or a stag night. I’m thinking of doing one with grandkids and family in for my mum. Also you can design it, save if yo don’t finish and pick up and carry on (hate those photobook creators where you have to do everything at once!).

No idea what the quality will be like but thought they could be a nice idea for a personalised present that’s a bit different!

PepsiLola · 20/09/2019 09:41

@PinkDaydreams it's not the older kitchen but I seen this on sale in my local Asda

MrsCrimbo74 · 20/09/2019 10:21

for the person looking for the Fjallraven Kanken backpacks, don't know if you want the full size or mini but these mini ones are £59.95 and you get 10% off if you sign up to their newsletter, bringing it down to £53.95

MeanMrMustardSeed · 20/09/2019 10:30

For the poster looking at Kanken in Cotswold Outdoor, if you have National Trust membership, you get 15% off. Get in touch with their customer services and they attach the discount to your account until your NT membership runs out. Can’t be used with other offers, but if great for those things that rarely go on sale.

ADayAlwaysHasToEnd · 20/09/2019 10:51

Snuggle advent calendar is now down to £20 smiggle

Luxplus · 20/09/2019 11:15

I just look at some danish sites and there it seems Fjällräven is cheaper so perhaps an idea to get it delivered from there

wibbletooth · 20/09/2019 11:22

Just had a Facebook ad telling me that there’s an online, one day only, sale at Paperchase today with up to 70% off.

(Wondering exactly how much of my non-Facebook posts Facebook is reading and if this means they’ll target me with lots of ads for sales and bargains... Hope so!

Reastie · 20/09/2019 11:31

Smiggle calendar is reduced until Monday I think. Sadly I can’t get to the store in time.

PinkDaydreams · 20/09/2019 11:48

@PepsiLola thanks for the asda link. After reading many reviews I’m going to go for the ikea one as it’ll last longer and also bit more space in it. Thank you though Flowers

RJnomore1 · 20/09/2019 12:01

I don’t know how often it happens but I got dds kanken with 20% off from urban outfitters then 10% student discount - best price I’ve seen. Worth keeping eyes open and someone can get you a student code on here if you ask I’m sure.

rarejuicegoose · 20/09/2019 12:01

I have a 20% off birthday code for the entertainer toy shop. I don't think it's locked to my account but if anyone would like it pm me. I won't need it
