What's the best film to watch on Christmas Eve?

Now DS will be 2.5 this year we're starting the traditions and I'd like to pick a classic that won't get tired year after year. Also that will keep both young and old interested.

I just want that warm fuzzy feeling and preferably a nice message. Best nominations please!

We always watch the Snowman and the Snowdog in the dark with the tree lights on after bathtime on Christmas Eve.

The Polar Express is also one of our favourites :)

My lil man loves Rise of the guardians. It's a great film, i enjoyed it. The gruffalo and gruffalo child movies are nice too, i found them long enough to hold my son's attention when he was younger so if you wanted something shorter it's a good shout. The CBeebies pantos are good as well, keep an eye out on scheduling times, you can find dvds of past ones online though I found some in the pound shop!

Thanks! There are some I haven't seen on here so I might have to test a few out in December.

Already so excited for Christmas this year!

Arthur Christmas is great for little ones although I wouldn't expect them to sit there for long. The Muppets letters to santa is another one, my ds loves this at the same age.

Every Christmas Eve we watch The Snowman - DS is now sixteen so has seen it sixteen times Grin We also watch the Raymond Briggs Father Christmas and added The Snowman and the Snowdog when it came out!

A Charlie Brown Christmas. It's quite short, charming and sweet.
