Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

The vtech camera is great! You'll pick it up for around £30

luxplus my very nearly 3yo loves the doorbell house, has been able to use the keys for the last couple of months but found it frustrating when she was younger. She plays with it a lot now and loads of other random little figures get hidden inside the house too

FastAway · 09/09/2019 14:11

My DS likes the doorbell house too.

Trumpton · 09/09/2019 14:18

Dgc is just 3 and loves the house as do the older gc . They use it like a little safe as well . It is lovely .

Luxplus · 09/09/2019 14:20

@Tiredsahm84 thanks. Do you know what it means when you can choose different country version? We live in Denmark so just wanna be sure it can be used here

Dolphintrainer · 09/09/2019 14:25

Spiders

Tiredsahm84 · 09/09/2019 14:29

No idea sorry, maybe email vtech and ask them?

You’re welcome fubbs

I’m very impressed with my nip+fab order that came today, all this for £28! Will probably pop in dd1 & 2s stockings, or I’ll make them an advent if I can’t get my hands on 2 of the ASOS ones.

Also received some pretty little things clothes for dd2 today that I got with 20% off (I have referral link on other thread). And the wireless airpods from amazon came too. Xmas shopping is well on the way now and haven’t paid full price for a single thing yet.

Also saw on hotdeals that the game collective website has an Xbox One S Gear 5 bundle 1tb for £184.95 instead of £240. Don’t want to link as I think it’s affiliated for hukd, but google the website if you want to check it out.

So now Santa has officially gone in this house, its no about the massive pile of tat presents as much. So was looking for experiences/ gift cards they could use throughout the year that I could give to my 14 year old daughter and 12 year old son. Im going to wrap up in boxes and layers so it looks still as Christmasy but can throw the boxes away and be left with a small pile. Any ideas would be appreciated.

nomorewinedayfriday · 09/09/2019 15:19

For anyone who was disappointed that the nip+fab code didn't work on the skin care range - there's some in a better than half price sale online at Superdrug.

daphine2004 · 09/09/2019 15:22

@ZIGGY911 I buy my sisters (aged 16) Starbucks cards. They love them. I buy through a discount benefit scheme at work and there are loads of different cards and cinema tickets. So it’s 10% off or whatever the offer is on that particular card.

If you don’t have a scheme like that at work you can still do what you’re wanting to. I read up thread about Morrison’s giving extra points if you buy from them. For the ages of your kids I’d suggest:

  • Odeon or Vue gift card
  • Pizza Express
  • Nando’s
  • Starbucks
  • Merlin season pass (or whatever amusement/zoo etc. You have local to you.
ZIGGY911 · 09/09/2019 16:17

@daphine2004 that's a great idea. I will get searching them.

sparkle789 · 09/09/2019 16:31

If anyone sees the lol doll camper or house on offer could you let me know. I’m not sure if they are likely to be but worth a try.

snowmanshoes · 09/09/2019 16:49

BBC good food Homemade Christmas mag is out at Morrison’s for those interested

Resisting the Spode as I only really need small plates to go with peppermint handle mugs.

NoWordForFluffy · 09/09/2019 17:19

I now have spiders coming my way. I hope the kids appreciate them! 🕷😂

PinkJam · 09/09/2019 18:33

@sparkle789 Very have had the 2018 version of the house reduced to £150 but currently sold out. However it said sold out yesterday and did go back into stock for a short time. So worth keeping an eye out. I think some stores are reducing the 2018 version as a new 2019 one is out with a different LOL family in it and also the winter chalet house is being released soon so prices of the original house will hopefully go down again.

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 09/09/2019 18:39

@sparkle789 I'm hoping Smyths do their 20% off a £100 spend again in September

Howmanysleepsnow · 09/09/2019 18:41

@NoWordForFluffy I’ll have beer for my dad if there’s any left please?

SheStoodInTheStorm · 09/09/2019 19:00

@Becles are the spiders in two boxes? So essentially 2 gifts for £5?

totallyLosingIt · 09/09/2019 19:29

Does anyone have a £10 off £30 spend they could PM me with for Boden? Not sure if they are out of date now.

totallyLosingIt · 09/09/2019 19:34

@Howmanysleepsnow I think fluffy said her referrals had all been used up now, but if you go here you can get a box of 10 beers, snacks etc, you just have to pay the £4.95 postage (and remember to cancel the subscription once you've received it).

I ordered one like this last year, the beers were good as an extra present for DH for Christmas. Unfortunately the snacks had short shelf lives so I ate them up.

This isn't an affiliate link, I've just googled 'Beer52 free case' and this was the top link that appeared.

Spam88 · 09/09/2019 19:56

This will be, at best, of minimal helpfulness... I was in Ikea the other day and there were posters up advertising that there'll be money of the DUKTIG kitchen with the Family card for some period between October and November. Can't remember the dates or the price sorry 🤦‍♀️ just my annoyance that it was after the September birthday I need to buy one for!

SandraOhshair · 09/09/2019 20:35

@23:09margaritasbythesea I'd love to see the jokes please!

Someaddedsugar · 09/09/2019 21:02
