Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Referral link here . Use this to post any links where you can refer a mner and you or both of you get an incentive. For ease and fairness please don’t post these on the main thread.

imsorryiasked · 07/09/2019 18:32

MrsCrimbo74 · 07/09/2019 19:11

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but Disney shop sale up to 50% off

snowmanshoes · 07/09/2019 19:15

Next have some mama/papa/mini/pet elf pjs on their website that can be personalised (but pricey!) and randomly a daddy/mummy deer towel? Their Christmas stock is sneeking in.......

Becles · 07/09/2019 19:15

@CoffeeAndEnnui Thank you! Just what I needed.

FireflyGirl · 07/09/2019 19:16

@Hoooo If you're near a Morrisons, they are offering 5000 points (equivalent to £5) off certain £20 gift cards including Student Choice, which is one of those where you can use them in a number of places and includes Odeon.

Hoooo · 07/09/2019 19:34

Thank you!
I'm not but I can make a trip :)

rosebb1 · 07/09/2019 19:56

@WaitWhatOh I'm after a winter coat too! Please could you share the code for mountain warehouse? Can't find the original post! Thank you!

WaitWhatOh · 07/09/2019 20:20

yeah I scrolled but can’t find it either @rosebb1 was it the first thread? There’s a sale and I used the code BTS19 for further percentage off no idea if it’s still current.

Lc2006 · 07/09/2019 20:37

That code still works for mountain warehouse and saves you around an extra 15% I think

Looking for a pair of indestructible adult sized headphones for DS with SN. The indestructible bit is key.

patm99 · 07/09/2019 20:53

Volcaion, can I suggest which one not to go for? My dd (who has SN) has broken2 pairs of sony headphones ( just at the ear bit which swilves, if that makes any sense). However she did inhert a pair of plantonic headphones from her dad which seem indesructable, but they where expensive.

VolcanionSteamArtillery · 07/09/2019 21:37

What not to get is very welcome. From you description your sony ones sound exactly what I was looking at Blush. Im not adverse to spending on better quality if they are genuinely indestructible and stem the flow to landfill. You go cheap because your worried about breakage but sometimes thats the wrong way to go...

patm99 · 07/09/2019 21:52

The sony one were not particular cheap at £100, but to her ther are essential for being out and about. She really likes them, and has repaired them herself by glue the broken earpiece. The plantonic one are more padded and she finds that she gets a bit sweaty with them. But they do seem to be more robust

CrazyTownBananaPants · 07/09/2019 21:54

Photobox have an offer where you can get 9 5x5 magnets for £3 with the code Lovemagnet. I did 5 sets of 9 for £18.95 including postage so you can get multiple sets at the same time - think it ends tomorrow. It’s these magnets

www.photobox.co.uk/shop/home-gifts/photo-magnets

Wolfcub · 07/09/2019 21:57

Volcanion don’t but beats, the headband is very rigid and will snap if pulled too wide/bent the wrong way. I didn’t buy myself a pair for exactly that reason even though I like the sound

999caffeineplease · 07/09/2019 21:59

@LikeSilver do you know if the cineworld voucher is a special at Christmas? I’ve had a look and can see a similar thing (same things included) for £34.50 but would quite like to save a tenner if it’s coming out later in the year!

Youvegotafriendinme · 07/09/2019 22:26

@Reastie the primark in Bluewater had quite a few Christmas bits in today but all Disney themed. There was 3 types of tinsel, 8 different baubles, 6-8 hanging decorations and some tree toppers. The person I asked said the full range will be in by the end of September

VolcanionSteamArtillery · 07/09/2019 22:51

@Wolfcub not beats then either. I shall keep looking

Crackery · 07/09/2019 22:55

Likely cheapest place for matching family pjs? Need ages 3,7,13,15, adult men and women.

margaritasbythesea · 07/09/2019 23:16

Thanks to the two posters who mentioned the Amazon weighted blanket deal. Between my Land's End slippers and that, my own Christmas presents are sorted.

I'm relatively young, I promise you!

101Robin · 08/09/2019 00:11

Didn't see a sausage in Primark but the Works played a single Christmas song today! Quite festive but the other customers looked a bit Hmm

torthecatlady · 08/09/2019 00:12

Just found this for dss who is Pokemon mad. It's the same sort of thing as where's Wally, but Pokemon...

Great price and should keep him quiet for a little bit!

@Weepingwillows12

These are my best lego hunting tips.

brickset track lego prices across different European amazon stores so you can see where the cheapest prices are. The shipping might negate the savings if you’re mainland UK and have prime but definitely worth watching if you’re paying shipping anyway. It also records the RRP so you can check that if an offer is genuine bargain, or not.

I’m not sure if the Argos 3-4-2 will happen this year but in the past amazon and John Lewis price matched during the sale. camel camel is a site that tracks prices on amazon UK and will send you alerts when items on your wishlist drop in price. You can also set alerts on []pricespy.co.uk/ pricespy]] for specific items.

I think that if you have a Merlin Pass for legoland you can get 10% off in the legostore (hopefully a wiser mumsnetter can confirm or deny). It’s even more bargainous if you can find a friend with a pass Wink

The lego store don’t do great discounts, in my experience, but have quite good offers of free gifts from time to time.

Smyths have had a 20% off sale, or a £10 off £50/£20 off £100 sale in mid September for the last few years. Obviously you have to be very certain to buy that early but last year I got the Minecraft Mountain Cave and I never saw a better offer between them and Christmas.

I’m not in U.K. so can’t advise on cashback options, or other U.K. stores. But hopefully other posters might know more.

@Reastie would it be worth putting links to [[https://pricespy.co.uk/ [[
uk.camelcamelcamel.com/?utm_campaign=locale_redir&utm_source=C:US-L:EN-G:GB&utm_medium=www Camelcamel]] and brickset in the 2nd posts?
