Scalextric help!

So I am turning to the wonders of mumsnet for help. I am looking for a scalextric set that 4 cars can be raced on at the same time. I have seen some but they are £700 or more! I don't mind used or vintage but my DC are adamant that they want a track from the man in red that they can all race on. So please help save me from my scalextric hell

Not really helpful but it's such a pain in the neck toy. Ages to set up. Takes up loads of room. After Xmas day it's inevitably hardly played with. Can't you divert them into hot wheels?

They already love hotwheels, it will get played with lots as one of my DC has ASD and he is obsessed with cars and racing cars. If it was my other DC i would just buy a cheap set as it would end up being forgotten.

What about the anki overdrive sets?
