Yachiru · 14/07/2019 15:17

For 9&7 year olds (or older)?
I'm going to have a go at making my own this year. a few of the days are going to be experiences/activities eg, baking.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? Bonus points for weird/unique stuff!

I’m not at work to copy and paste it, but search for me in Christmas topics and you’ll find a massive list (over 3 or more posts) of ideas for stocking fillers - lots would be good for advent calendars.

Those threads usually have great ideas from others too.

I’ve also posted a long list of advent calendar ideas on other threads, some may still be useful but lots are probably best for DCs younger than yours.

Brilliant, thank you both

Hair bands and clips, tiny perfume samples, one year I got a load of Pokemon figures which worked well.

Strange shaped rubbers were very popular too, I got a set of 20 or so from Amazon one year.

Small lego kit. Couple of pieces a day and will be cheaper than the lego one in the toy shop.

Cake sprinkles.
Wearable glitter.
A pound coin.
