Does anyone know what sort of things are usually reduced on prime day? Are kids kindles usually reduced? Not sure whether its worth signing up for prime and trying to get some early Christmas bargains?

Most of Amazon's own brand get discounted. Kindles, fire tablets, Alexa items (dots, echoes etc). Though do check what addition as some of the discontinued ones get reduced as they have brought out new models, though they get discounted too. It's often a good time to buy one as its bigger than black friday week. Though I found there wasnt too much difference in price last year on fire tablet, I held of till black friday and think I paid £10 more. I've put money into my amazon account for the past few months as I'm hoping to get a kindle for my mum as hers is very old, though I'll wait and see what generation models are on offer. Amazon often put there own devices on offer a few times before Christmas, and Ive never payed full price for for any of there own brand things like my echo or paperwhite. I do enjoy amazon prime too. Some good tv, next day delivery and at the moment I'm got 3 months free kindle unlimited.

Plus I'm sure you can cancel it before the end of the first month free trial. My mother in law did, but we do use it alot so I find it worth it.
