With DD, its not makeup or toiletries etc - hates all that stuff.
Vouchers for audiobooks and music work well. Or for the computer game store.
She also is looking for a waterproof Bluetooth speaker to play her music off her phone when out with friends (on boats - hence waterproof).
And things for sports - gloves for hockey, gloves/parts/hats etc for sailing, nice sports gear generally (very plain black leggings - don't even THINK about colour, but the ones with mesh inserts are suddenly acceptable, brightly coloured socks that can be found at the bottom of dark gear bags, and tshirts that aren't "lame" -I'm still failing on the tshirts front!).
Weirdly, recently, her wish list has also included bedding (she wants jersey sheets, in dark grey colours) and storage boxes to organize her room.
And headphones - she likes big ones for relaxing at home, and earbuds (on a wire - not the ultra expensive airpods or whatever they're called!) to go into her phone (recently needed to replace the phone, so the old buds don't work anymore - not a round connection but a flat one).
And definitely vouchers for Costa, Starbucks, or places with nice salads (Chopped)!
