Money lost in post

My aunt sent some money to my daughter for Xmas but unfortunately to our old address. Contacted Royal Mail and they said it would be sent to the national return office. Does anyone know how I can get that money back?

You might not get it back. That's why they say not to send cash in the post unless you use a guaranteed delivery service
