How can I prep them tonight for tomorrow? Peel them and refrigerate or is there something else I should be doing with these nasty little bastards?

Yes, just peel (i.e Take off the outer leaves) some. People put a little cross in the bottom but doesn’t make a great deal of difference. Put in a bag in fridge ready for tomorrow

Thank you!

Pro tip: fry them up with bacon instead of boiling. So much tastier - I actually like them like that!

Another vote for fry with bacon. And butter. And Lea & Perrins.

Brussel sprouts are lovely with a really good chili butter.

I found Marmite sprouts in the supermarket, so of course I had to get them. They may be nice or they may be the worst thing ever. Either way it'll be a nice Christmas surprise.

BlackForestCake · 24/12/2018 21:06

How long do you fry them for? Whole or halved?

0teaandtoast0 · 26/12/2018 16:11

Sorry, bit late - but if you've any left over I would cut them into quarters and fry with pancetta cubes for 10ish mins until pancetta is done and sprouts start to go brown.
