Turkey crown... When to cook?

My sister is hosting this year as we take it in turns and we all pitch in and bring an item of food with us. This year, as I say she's hosting and we are bringing the turkey and pigs in blankets.

DH bought a large turkey crown which is sitting in the fridge. We've been told to go over at 3pm and aim to eat at 4pm. I had planned to cook it first thing tomorrow and take it over covered in foil while its resting. (We only live ten minutes drive away) My Mum has suggested cooking it today so it will be easier to carve tomorrow.

What does everyone think? I've never been in charge of the turkey before and really want it to be a success!

If do it to be out of the oven at 2.45 tomorrow

I wouldn't. I'd put it on at 12 tomorrow, cook for 3 hours and rest for an hour.
