I've just had that Christmas feeling in my stomach.
We've had the lovely in-laws over this afternoon, all plans for last min shopping and outings have been cancelled because of the awful rain. Instead DH is playing Minecraft with the DCs while I potter about. They are laughing their heads off at something and I just got a rush of pure Christmas-ness.
I might even open some Christmas fizz soon.
Merry Christmas! Xmas Grin

I'm watching muppets Christmas carol to try to make me more festive. Having a stinking fucking hangover isn't helping.

Ah bless you, genuinely.

I can't wait for it to be over but I'm bored, heavily pregnant and we have no Christmas plans really. And not doing presents this year apart from for dd. I'm basically the grinch. Glad other people have the Christmas spirit though!

Merry Christmas y'all!

I’m with you op.

Happy Christmas 🎄🎄🍷😁

Although likely not to return to
MN for a few days as it seriously depresses me when you get the posters on Boxing Day who proudly announce they’ve taken their tree and all the decorations down.
It seriously depresses me as Christmas is by far no means over on Boxing Day!

Merry Christmas! 🍷🎄💕

I'll be feeling festive once I get this shift over and done with at work today!! It was really nice yesterday, we stayed in because of the rain and were watching the snowman, doing painting and just relaxing at home altogether. Then we took the boys out to soft play for a while. It just felt like it was the first weekend in a long time we hadn't spent the time rushing around, doing shopping and housework etc.

I used to hate the bit in between Christmas and new year before having the kids. But now they're off school I love it again. It's the excitement of being home, having new things to play with and seeing family etc. I love seeing it through their eyes again.
