Do I wrap the stocking presents or is it just as much fun to pull them out one by one with no paper on?

No paper, stocking is the wrapping

AnnaMariaDreams · 23/12/2018 07:57

Wrap, unwrapping takes longer and is more fun. Tissue paper is good for this.

Taffeta · 23/12/2018 08:04

Wrap in tissue paper

Takes a few extra mins so annoying when in Wrapping Hell, but great as extends the fun when unwrapping

NotPennysBoat · 23/12/2018 08:05

Wrap in tissue paper with no sellotape. Extends the excitement and I collect the tissue for reuse next year.

SweepTheHalls · 23/12/2018 08:06

Wrap!

22Giraffes · 23/12/2018 08:07

I don't wrap but these threads always make me feel like I should Blush

moredoll · 23/12/2018 08:09

Wrap

bestbefore · 23/12/2018 08:09

Wrap but remember to use a completely different paper to anything from you so they think it's from FC (that's what happens here)

Didiusfalco · 23/12/2018 08:11

Wrap, definitely. Prolongs the excitement.

VioletCharlotte · 23/12/2018 08:12

Wrap! Makes it so much more exciting.

dizzygirl1 · 23/12/2018 08:14

Wrapped.... Well it is in our house 😊😊
We have paper from us and paper from Father Christmas so always need to make sure I use the right paper!

IPromiseIWontBeNaughty · 23/12/2018 08:19

Wrap

With special Father Christmas paper. Xmas Wink

ZenNudist · 23/12/2018 08:20

Wrap. More exciting that way

AdaColeman · 23/12/2018 08:21

Wrap each one carefully with plenty of sellotape so they are difficult to open......it will slow them down opening them and you can have an extra doze or a quiet cup of tea!

RickOShay · 23/12/2018 08:21

Agree with tissue paper, no sellotape.

Jackshouse · 23/12/2018 08:22

Wrap! bestbefore Santa brings the stocking only in our house.

jq28 · 23/12/2018 08:26

Always wrap them!

Atalune · 23/12/2018 08:27

Wrap!!

OhOk · 23/12/2018 08:28

I always wrap. This year though I read a tip on here and bought paper sweet bags off amazon and have put all the small stocking bits in them and sellotaped them shut! Took half the time and still wrapped

Luckingfovely · 23/12/2018 08:29

Yup, wrap in special Father Christmas paper!

Crimbobimbo · 23/12/2018 08:30

I wrap in a different paper.

bestbefore · 23/12/2018 08:50

@Jackshouse us too! I am not having FC take credit for big stuff!! Wink

ritzbiscuits · 23/12/2018 08:57

I've got cheap candy cane stripe paper from Card Factory. It was 59p and is different to all the other paper. Looks like it's from the North Pole.

Notso · 23/12/2018 09:49

Soft toys and food don't get wrapped, everything else does.
Don't know why I've imposed this rule Grin
I am quite new to the whole stocking thing though, I didn't have a stocking as a child and only started doing them for my kids 5 years ago.

CookieSwirlC · 23/12/2018 21:08

Thanks everyone! I did the bag idea last year but half the stuff didn’t bloody fit even though the bags were huge. I’ve got separate Santa paper so DH is currently tasked with them while I’m feeding the baby.
