Christmas pudding without walnuts?

Or pecans either.
Kids love things like mincemeat and Christmas cake but younger one is allergic to peanuts and walnuts - I’m struggling to find a Christmas pud without walnuts. Is there such a thing in any of the big supermarkets? Tried Tesco and Asda with no luck. Making one is not going to happen!

I can’t help with a bought pudding this year but next year you might like to consider making your own. It’s not difficult, the kids can help as it’s mostly weighing dried fruit or using scissors to snip dried apricots etc, you can choose what you put in it and everyone has to stir it and make a wish.

I’m sure someone will be along with peanut and pecan free bought puddings for this year.

Oops sorry didn’t read your not making one bit. It’s too late this year anyway.

Maybe try a health food shop?

Morrisons have a no nuts no alcohol one - I bought one today

Thanks Eva - will try Morrisons tomorrow.
TheProvincialLady but doesn’t it steam up your house like mad? Will deffo consider it next year unless it’s going to take the wallpaper off while cooking Grin

It doesn’t steam up the kitchen if you use a pan with a tight fitting lid. The idea is to keep the steam inside the pan so it cooks the pudding! I made three at once this year (was trying to make two but there was enough mixture for three so made a smaller third one) and it was ok. Makes the house smell delicious too.

Tesco do a nut and alcohol free one. It's with all the other puddings in my local store and in a blue wrapper.
