I'm going to be completely on my own with 16 month old twins from Christmas Eve to 27th December.
They aren't brilliant sleepers (due to health problems) so I'm permanently exhausted.
What can I do to get through Christmas? Obviously- they aren't aware it's Christmas but it would be nice to do something we can enjoy.
I've not got anyone I can visit.
Was thinking of going along to a church service and for a walk if it's not too cold but not sure whatelse to do. They aren't that interested in watching tv so Christmas films won't really work.
Any ideas very welcome.
I am struggling knowing I'm going to b alone. Thank you

At that age I’d just go with the flow! Plenty of festive “picky” food so cheese cubes, crackers, sausage rolls, tangerines. Agree about being a bit small for tv so maybe some christmas music/radio on in the background - both Classic FM and Magic are good this time of year depending on your tastes and yes, weather permitting try to get out and about as much as you can, just a walk to the park, feed the ducks whatever.

Also some christmas crafts if you have the energy or bake biscuits together. Some lovely ideas on Pinterest.

Can you facetime/skype any friends or family?

I think I’d do church service, good idea. Then reasonably normal routine but with treaty things for you. I’d probably go to bed at the same time as them but with Christmas cake and tea and cosy tv.

Post on here as well - there are usually lots of people to chat.
