Hiya, this is actually a birthday gift for January but thought you lovely lot may have ideas!

Looking for a gift for my aunt who is early 60s and loves luxury products, homewares and flower arranging. Toiletries and skincare are out due to sensitive skin. I had looked at cashmere socks before realising how expensive they are!

Was looking to spend around £25-30. Any ideas? Thank you!

You can get cashmere or merino/cashmere socks in TK Maxx - worth a look

AndThereSaw · 17/12/2018 17:26

Mohair or alpaca socks will be in your price range and still luxuriously fluffy!

AndThereSaw · 17/12/2018 17:26

Also TK maxx may have silk scarves for about £30

Trumpton · 17/12/2018 17:55

Have a look at turtle doves cashmere wrist warmers . They are lovely .

SheWoreBlueVelvet · 17/12/2018 18:40

TK Maxx have Mahabis felt / sheepskin slippers for £30 in stock. Not many online when I last looked but there were certainly a number of pairs in 6's and 7's in store.

Silk pillow cases to stop your face and hair drying out are cheap on Amazon and look high end.

ChristineBaskets · 17/12/2018 20:44

I was going to say Turtle Doves gloves too! I've bought two pairs for gifts this Christmas.

Lazybonita · 17/12/2018 21:10

Jo Malone little candle? They are small but smell amazing and are so beautifully boxed and presented.

LuxuryWoman2018 · 18/12/2018 07:24

Woodwick candles are lovely or how about a Chanel compact mirror? Leather gloves maybe.

Casablanca78 · 18/12/2018 07:28

The white company have lovely cashmere wrist warmers and there’s usually a 20% off code floating about to make them around £30

Didiusfalco · 18/12/2018 08:09

@trumpton I don’t suppose you know if turtle doves have a post Christmas sale do you? I want some, but don’t need them before Christmas. Thanks.

Stickerrocks · 18/12/2018 08:57

If you sign up for the Turtle Doves mailing list, you will get a 10% discount code and regular special offers. I'm currently snug & cosy in my TD neck warmer and fingerless gloves. can't get enough pairs!

Trumpton · 18/12/2018 09:53

I don’t know about post Christmas sale but if you are happy to take a small risk then TENOFFGLOVES gives £10 off and you can specify dark of bright in comments box. I have been very happy with my pairs .

I know that cashmere wrist warmers are big on here but honestly?

Have you ever seen anyone wearing them or wanted a pair?

Didiusfalco · 18/12/2018 17:30

I do quite a lot of photography and thought they might be useful. I’ve heard only good things so it could be worth a go?

Batshittery · 18/12/2018 17:36

I have just purchased a gift from a company called the Marshmallowist.
It is a box set with a small mug, pieces/shards of good quality chocolate and hand made marshmallows in a choice of flavours. The package came with a hand written note from the owner which I thought was a nice touch, and it looks really lovely. I thought it was great value for £20.
Just a thought.

BeaLola · 18/12/2018 18:08

Chanel compact mirror
Neom candle (20% off codes floating around)

Jackshouse · 18/12/2018 18:09

Wait for the sales.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/12/2018 20:29

I wore my last pair of cashmere wristwarmers until they literally fell to pieces. Really need to replace them.

Petitprince · 18/12/2018 20:32

Fstar · 18/12/2018 21:00
