Small, gadgety, gift ideas?

I need something for my dad. Trouble is, he buys himself anything he wants so I always end up stumped!

Are there any inexpensive gadgets you lot can think of, that he might find useful/entertaining, that I could pick up in a quick trip to town tomorrow to buy birthday gifts for dd2?

Bluetooth headphones might be good actually. He does like his phone & downloads books/music to it regularly.

One of those things you whistle or clap at Sand? I think they're called "key finders", I'll google that too.

Does he do any sports or hobbies you could base it on, thinking of things like a waterproof MP3 player if he swims or one of those gizmos that charges your phone based on you running.
