Mulled Cider recipe

Does anyone have an easy recipe for mulled cider - preferably in a slow cooker.
I did try a few years ago but it was awful, I think I used enough spice ingredients for a gallon

This is mine - it’s definitely one I’d use as inspiration rather than gospel. I might leave out the herbal tea and use star anise instead of the ginger. I’ve also used different citrus fruit in it - sometimes my local greengrocer has bergamots this time of year, which work well. Can’t see why it wouldn’t work in a slow cooker too.

If you want to make it easy, Schwartz mulled cider bags are great, as are their mulled wine bags (from herb and spice aisle)
