Show me your decorated mantle piece!

Please help! We have never had a
Fireplace before so I have never decorated one. Inspired by the Christmas tree thread, pls can you show me your mantel piece photos?

This was last year’s because I am still trying to get this year’s done !
The lights are 66 years old ! So they only go on for a little while each night .

Wonderful!! Just what i was after! Keep them coming and I’ll post of photo of mine when done!

Mine is just a plain cheap green garland then I added dried hydrangea heads & sprayed silver heads, pine cones and a silk flower branch I cut up and wired on. Then some willow twigs. All from garden cost next to nothing

I love all these!!! Sadly after a year of renovations and now on matleave I will need to be creative with an extremely low budget. I will be raiding HM home and Tiger these next few weeks. Please keep the gorgeous pictures coming. I love them all! So festive

Lndnmummy keep an eye out for foliage it will def keep fresh if cut this close to Xmas. Red dogwood branches are particularly lovely to use. I raided the bushes of Tesco car park yesterday for some as well as some hebe. Use the wired branches of the garland to attach fresh stuff onto
