Can anyone recommend any slime or make your own slime kits that are actually decent? Ones we've had in the past either make a paltry amount of slime or after a few days the slime turns to a sticky mess. I thought I'd found an excellent slime in the Nickelodeon one but after 2 days it was unusable.

What about making your own 'make your own kit'- pva glue, contact lens solution (or anything containing boric acid), baking soda. My daughter gets through loads of ingredients so I ve bought her these for her stocking. You can make cloud slime by adding instant snow to the above, crunchy slime adding beads, coloured slimes with paint or food colouring, glitter slime adding glitter, fluffy slime adding shaving foam.....

You can get a massive pot of pva from Ryman’s for a tenner. Bottle of optrex and shaving foam. DD uses gel food colouring.

Plenty of YouTube videos but essentially it’s trial and error. We’ve found this to be the best recipe - shaving foam, not gel. Don’t use paint to colour - it gets too wet. Sometimes DD adds hand soap or cornflour. No idea why, just changes consistency I think.

You’ll need takeaway containers with lids too. And a plastic tray to keep it all contained.

Much more fun to make your own.

You need crazy Aaron's thinking putty. Doesn't make the hideous mess that slime does and it comes in loads of quirky colours

My dds got sets from Cra-Z-Slime from Santa at the village Christmas party today, and they were the best slime sets they've had. They worked well and included absolutely everything (including bowls, scrapers and storage pots).
