Game gift for a family

Any ideas for a game suitable for a family of five to play together? DC are 8, 5, and 3. They are a bilingual family whose day-to-day life is not conducted in English so wordy games might not fit the bill.

Very grateful for any ideas!

3-8 is quite an age range for board games but mine at those ages enjoyed things like Pop Up Pirate, Buckaroo, Hungry Hippos, Kerplunk and Monkey Business. Most of those are for four players but we got round it by having a "team" for the youngest, which meant, in practice, that one parent essentially sat out until said DC got bored and wandered off (which happened after a short period usually!) and then carried on so that the game could continue.

We have played Mama Mia at a friends. Don't know if it is still available but that is a card game for five where you collect cards to make pizzas. Short enough to be fun for the youngest.

Uno?

Thank you for the ideas. I’m wondering about Twister? The youngest probably won’t play ‘properly’ but I think that’s manageable.

I second Blues suggestion - uno is a great family game and my boy could manage it by 3

Most families have these games already?

The fame game? Pie face?
