Any ideas for presents for 12 year old neice? She likes books. Any suggestions or other ideas based on girls of that age you know? It's a long time since I've seen her.

What about a nice journal and pen, to start her off, stationery and art have some gorgeous ones.

Books - dystopian literature (I am sick to death of it in this house): The Hunger Games, Maze Runner, Divergent. Vouchers (Amazon) always work....

I have bought these fairly recently newly released books for my 12 year old who is a voracious reader. Yes to hunger games etc but that was all year 7 stuff for DD so I would either ask or buy a new release as you did not know if she already has them.

DD is 12. Sadly she is very into make up.
I have bought her a tie die kit.. with some white T Shirts.. Did the same thing last year and she enjoyed making them and enjoyed wearing them too.

I got my DN this ice cream maker last year. It was an Andrew James one and she uses it all the time.

DD 12 has asked for the following, Harry Potter Lego, ukulele, lip balm, bath bombs. We have also got her stationary and these books

Thanks everyone! Apparently she is into make-up too. What brands are popular with that age group?

My dd likes the MUA range from Superdrug, was happy with lipstick from Primark. She isn’t into high end brands and I won’t really encourage it (probably wishful thinking) but from friends benefit and MAC seem popular.

The star gifts from boots are very good. Bought ted baker one for my 12 year old dd which she will love.
Also ideas: M&S ugg boots from kids section, onesie, hair curler (a lot of them want one, anything Adidas, phone case, pastel highlighter pens, transparent make up bags with pictures on (H&M) used as pencil cases, nail varnishes, nail art stuff, Jacqueline Wilson girls in love series books.
