Is 'Remembering you this season with warm thoughts' a suitable sentiment for a Christmas card for someone who is recently bereaved?

Remembering sounds like they’ve died. How about Sending you warm thoughts (turning the sentence round)? It’s lovely that you’re thinking about this, it can be such a difficult time
